Jessica Alba and husband Cash Warren have become proud parents of a baby girl.

She was born this weekend at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. The ‘Fantastic Four’ star’s father was overheard saying, "she's beautiful," reports Usmagazine.com. Warren was also spotted carrying food in the maternity ward.

However, her rep had no comment. Alba announced she was expecting last December. The couple got engaged after announcing their baby news. They quietly wed in the Beverly Hills courthouse's ceremony room on May 19.

Anoushka Shankar is known for her eclectic choice in music and fashion.

So, when it was recently reported that she will be making her Bollywood debut in a bilingual film with serial kisser Emraan Hashmi, a few eyebrows were raised.

However, the classical musician wants to clear the air from the US where she is performing a series of concerts. “I am not doing the film with Emraan,” she says. “It is true that I met Ahsaan Hyder about his film Breaking Free.

I found the film interesting but after reading the script and going through the initial process, I decided that it was not the right film for me to do.” Apparently, Hyder met Anoushka in Delhi during her last trip to India. She was here with her parents – father Pt Ravi Shankar and mother Sukanya Shankar.
The film, a bilingual, has Emraan playing the hero and Hyder chose Anoushka because of her musical background and accent. Hyder had confirmed that Anoushka had agreed to be a part of the film principally and he needed to travel to New York for her to sign the deal and complete necessary formalities, et al.

Anoushka, however, says that she is not looking at that film as her debut vehicle in Bollywood. She, meanwhile, doesn’t deny that she is thinking of working in Hindi films. She adds, “It is true that I decided not to do Breaking Free but I’m looking at several other scripts.” All of them from Bollywood? “Some of the scripts that I am reading are from Bollywood. However, I plan to carefully choose something that feels right for me. That is when I shall take the plunge,” she said.

And what is happening in her life currently? “I’m touring. I have a packed diary. In fact, I’m mid travel and tour right now. And there’s a lot of stuff to talk about my current tour. I have been busy since I got back from India in March 2008. I finished the USA leg of my tour in April and they were 11 wonderful shows. Then I was at home in California for two weeks. Since then I have also toured Turkey, Hungary, Germany, France, UK, Portugal, Japan and I have shows lined up in Australia, New Zealand, Taiwan and Singapore,” she says.

How did you celebrate your birthday?

Last year, on my birthday I was shooting for Saawariya. And this time I was shooting for Dilli 6.

There are stories your Dilli 6 director Rakeysh Mehra bullied you...

What nonsense! Rakeysh is a lamb. He is incapable of screaming at anyone. We get along like house on fire. I instinctively understand how he wants me to do a shot.

And what about your hero, Abhishek?

He’s tall enough to suit me on screen. It was different during Saawariya as my relationship with Ranbir was casual as we are childhood friends. However, with Abhishek, I was a thorough professional. He made suggestions gently and if he wanted to make a point, he said it as a joke to avoid any offence. And we both love junk food. He would keep digging into my cookies and then blame me for his weight gain. He has done 35 films, which he keeps reminding me all the time. Besides that, we are from similar backgrounds, both of us have studied abroad and we both have been brought up in Juhu. And I am in awe of Ash – she is so beautiful!

What about you and Ranbir?

I was never seeing Ranbir. I’m happy for him. Deepika seems to be a really nice girl.

Any more films with him?

We’ve got no offers together. But I’m sure we will work together again. We share a great chemistry on screen.

Would you like to be a size zero for your birthday?

I lost 35 kgs for my first film. Even if I starve myself I’d never be a size zero. But I believe there’s nothing like being too successful or too thin.
